Longleat House is a stately house and home of the Marquesses of Bath. It is famous for its Elizabethan country house, maze and beautifully landscaped gardens which includes a safari park. This tour allows you to see it all from the 1,000 acre parkland and safari park designed by the famous landscape architect Capability Brown and the magnificent stately home.
The house was built by Sir John Thynne and took 12 years to complete and is widely considered one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture in Britain. The tour of the house includes seeing the Elizabethan Great Hall, The State Drawing Room, The Red Library and many more magnificent rooms within.
Longleat Safari Park was the first drive-through safari park outside of Africa and attracts tourists with its extensive number of captive animals which comprises of over 500 animals. The park includes a Big Game Park, Wallaby Wood, Monkey Jungle, Tiger Territory, Lion Country and many more reserves for different animals. Your group is sure to enjoy their visit to Safari Park.
