Transport

COACH – A coach tour is usually the most convenient, flexible and cost effective option for group travel. If you go by coach you will benefit from our door-to-door service and have flexibility throughout the tour. The coach remains with your group throughout the tour and you will have use of your coach for local excursions – subject of course to EC regulations on drivers’ hours. We work with only reputable coach operators who can provide a variety of different size coaches. All vehicles are well maintained and serviced regularly, comply with UK coach regulations and the drivers they employ are all of a high professional standard. All drivers and tour managers are CRB checked.

FERRY CROSSINGS – Taking a ferry to Europe is a very convenient way to cross the English Channel as there are many ferry routes from the UK. We will make all the necessary ferry crossing bookings from whichever departure ferry port is the most suitable for you. The choice is yours!

EUROTUNNEL – The Channel Tunnel operated by Eurotunnel provides the fastest way to Brussels, Paris and Disneyland.

AIR TRAVEL – For longer distances we can arrange flights, either on scheduled services or with the low budget airlines to destinations throughout Europe.
Will you be using PUBLIC TRANSPORT in some destinations? Public transport costs are not included in the tour price, but should you wish to save time and benefit from group discounts, Tours for Groups can assist by buying tickets in advance. Please note public transport will be used if groups are not travelling by coach.

Accommodation

The accommodation we use in all destinations is of a good tourist standard. We will source the most appropriate accommodation to match your group’s requirements, whether it is low budget hostel or en-suite hotel accommodation. Room types will depend on the type of accommodation requested. Normally accommodation will be booked on a bed & breakfast basis, but you have the opportunity to upgrade your meal plan for a small supplement. If you are travelling with a large group opting for a half or full board meal plan may be advisable. Please discuss this with your tour advisor to come to the most suitable arrangement for your group.
