Take your school group to see some of the greatest art in the world on this 3 day tour to the French capital and to the inspirational home of the French master Monet in Giverny. Paris exudes style, glamour, and beauty and nowhere in the world is there a better selection of world-class art museums than in the French capital. Visiting the world’s most famous museum, Louvre, with its almost endless amount of paintings and sculptures is sure to inspire budding artists. Just a short distance away is also the Musee d’Orsay which houses an impressive collection of 19th century French art with perhaps the greatest collection of post-impressionist art.
Monet’s Garden in Giverny is an amazingly inspirational place for artists as well. The meticulously landscaped garden was the inspiration for many works by the founder of French Impressionist paintings and Master Claude Monet. The house and gardens offered Monet many suitable motifs for his works and some of his most famous paintings including Water Lilies and the Japanese bridge and The rose arches amongst others. Today, it is a popular destination for artists and fans of impressionism and Monet.Ask a Question Get a Quote
