Monaco & Cannes – Tours For Groups

This small sovereign city-state, located on the French Riviviera is surrounded by France and the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the smallest and most densly populated countries in the world. With its mild climate and stunning landscape, Monaco has become the home of the rich and famous. It is also well known for its on-street Formula 1 race and famous casinos. Today, visiting this tiny city-state doesn’t mean you have to be an A-list celebrity or sportsperson and has been growing in popularity for school trips.

Also, located on the French Riviera is the splendid city of Cannes. The city hosts the annual Cannes Film Festival and Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. It is also well-known for its luxury shops, restaurants, and hotels but visiting this city doesn’t need to have a luxury price tag. Tours for Groups can show you the most famous sights in Cannes.

Example itinerary

Day 1

Evening: Departure from your school and travel to Dover for crossing and onward travel through France.

Day 2

Morning: Onward travel through Paris and stop in the morning for breakfast. Travel further South.

Afternoon: Further onward travel before arrving in the afternoon in accommodation for check-in.

Evening: After some time to freshen-up the group will go out in the evening to see the city and its famous landmarks illuminated.

Day 3

Morning: After breakfast, travel back to Monaco and spend the day visiting the famous museums, harbour, beachfront,  palaces and more.

Afternoon: After lunch, travel to Cannes to see this splendid city by the sea and its famous theatres, beachfront and enjoy the city at your leasiure.

Evening: Travel back to accommodation for overnight stay

Morning: After breakfast, group checks-out of accommodation and begin return journey back to UK.

Afternoon: Travel through France with comofrt stops en-route to UK.

Evening: Arrival back at school in the early morning hours the following day.

Monte Carlo Harbor- Monaco
Monaco & CannesProbably the most well-know harbour in the world with the most incredibly large and expensive yachts you will find anywhere. Famous for also being a section of the Formula 1 racetrack, visitors can see this remarkably beautiful harbour and quite possibly bumb into a Hollywood A-list celebrity or perhaps a famous sportsperson.

Museo Oceanografico- Monaco
Monaco & CannesThis Monaco landmark was built on the side of the mythical Rock of Monaco and offers visitors a unique aquarium experience. From the ornamental facades to the smallest adornments within, everything is evokes the marine world. First opened in 1910 and today attracting over 700,000 visitors each year, it is an invitation to see more than 6000 specimens of the marine world and a place of exchange and culture. Inside, visitors can see The Shark Lagoon, Turtle Island (situated on a panoramic terrace), “Oceanomania”- The biggest collection of marine world curiosities and more. School groups are sure to enjoy visiting this highly intersting and unique aquarium.

Opera de Monte-Carlo- Monaco

First opened in 1879 and designed by the architect Charles Garnier, who also designed the Paris Opera house, is a truly stunning building. Although much smaller than the Paris Opera, it features many of the same design characteristics as its more famous sibling. Throughout its history it has hosted many spectacular performances as well as gala-dinners.

Today, the Palais des Festivals has an overall capacity of 25,000 square metres. Take your school group for a walk down the red carpet in front of this iconic landmark.
